A drugs squad in California has found a 1.5 million-dollar (£920,000) cannabis-growing operation at a house along with an unusual security guard - a 4ft-long alligator named Wally.
The Riverside County drug task force team moved in on the house in Hemet and seized nearly 2,300 pot plants. Agents also found the reptile, described as a "watchgator".
The healthy 55lb American alligator was turned over to the Forever Wild Exotic Animal Sanctuary in Phelan, since alligators are illegal to keep as pets in California.
